Upgrading/Degrading Tanks?

Is it possible for something like this to work and optionally for the AI to make use of it properly?

You have a Tank

At Tier 1 (Anything before Radar) he is Tank Mk 1

Once you build a Radar (Tier 2) Tank Mk 1 gets replaced on the Sidebar by Tank Mk 2

Once you unlock Battle Lab (Tier 3) Tank Mk 2 gets upgraded to Tank Mk 3.

Of course if battle lab or radar gets blown up (in that order) The Tank would get restored back to lower Tier Versions.

It can easily be done for the player using Ares Prerequisite.Negative. However the AI ignores prerequisites so you cant stop them from building the "old" versions of a unit.

You can always use a condition 'AI has less than 1 of TechnoType' to partially limit it's access to the unupgraded unit.
