Ok, i found a tutorial on yrarg, it told you how to change the dominator into a ion cannon, i followed the tutorial but im having a few problems, for one, the beam (animation 1) doesnt go all the way to the floor.

Nextly, is there any way to stop the screen going red?

erm, i know how to change the animation, its just the ion canon beam doesnt reach all the way to the target it stops in the air...

Try adding Tiled=yes to the beam's art code.
To get rid of the red glow, you would have to edit every single map.

the red is cool would be better blue for an ion cannon

tiled=yes is allready in the beams code.
heres a picture of it.


Nextly, what would i have to change in the maps to change the color???

Dominator to ion cannon has many bugs:

Code:
DominatorFirstAnim=PDFXCLD;gs this is the whole giant heeead
This is hardcoded to display off the ground...

DominatorColors will need to be changed in EVERY SINGLE map to make it look right... :\

hmmm, ok, so if thats true im going to have to make a special animation for the second anim that has the ion canon in it, and set it to display instantly...

plus, im making a total conversion, so i will get rid of EVERY SINGLE map, and make my own, so how do you set the colors then???

oooops my bad, It's Weather Storm lighting that can be changed.... sorry Dominator lighting seems to be hardcoded...
