I don't mean Allied Harrier or Hornet, but not sure if Siege Chopper has it. But I wanna to know if it is possible to create an aircraft like Siege Chopper or Soviet Kirov (Something like that in a way) with working rotating turret that works just like ground vehicles?

Say if I want to make a slow moving aircraft with turret underneath it and uses HoverBalloonSpeed plus it will come out of war factory (I'm just giving out examples). If I force fire it to fire on opposite way of what that aircraft is facing, the turret should rotate toward the target that I force fired on. Will it work? Or it just doesn't work on any aircrafts?

i have balloon unit with turret in my mod [Swordfish] it work fine IMO only problem is they turret away face to east-south direction when unit stand still but it's not big problem.

but to put turret under their chassis i don't think it possible even it possible to do it but i don't think it'll work perfect.

Turrets on Jumpjet Vehicles will always face In-Game South or whatever direction they land on. (So BalloonHover Units for example like the Kirov if given a Turret will always face South)

The Siege Chopper has an Invisible Turret for its Flying Version.

As HM said Turret under Chassis is impossible

I use a Zeppelin with a gattling turret and it works OK, it doesn't always face the same, it can point to the targets... it only faces that direction when they are still and nopt doing anything, I don't think this is quite horrible (?) unles syou have a really big turret with a large cannon in comparison to the aircraft.

The game always draws turrets above the unit (and i really mean always). Even if you put it under the body, it will be drawn as if it was above. :/

The only way a turret under a unit can be made so it won't be drawn over the body, is an shp disk-like unit (as it needs to look the same from all directions), and the turret frames would need to have empty all the pixels that would overlap with the body.
