Hey everyone! We're new here on PPM. But we would like to show everyone something we've finished building yesterday:

Not long ago, we also made a build for Mental Omega and featured their Shadow Tank:

We're CNCminecraft and we build Command and Conquer stuff in Minecraft. Why do we want to show our stuff on PPM? Well Games like RA2 and TS are more similar to Minecraft than you would think, in fact for certain builds we use the voxels to build huge projects. So if 1 Voxel block = 1 Minecraft Block. Then you could basically rebuild original units from the games. Thanks for watching!

There's also more stuff on our website and our PMC page (http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/cncminecraft/).

Can someone explain me what you actually do then with these models? Is it just something nice to look at? Or can they move and fight other "block"-vehicles?

I haven't played MineCraft so i don't know what you actually do in this game.

One of the purposes of Minecraft is creativity and the construction of vast edifices.  Hubris some might call it, but they definitely can be impressive to look at.

I've been wanting to do a TD / TS texture pack for MC for a while now, making the long grass Tiberium... Maybe I'll get on it #Tongue . Good work, it's like being inside a voxel editor.

Now that's an idea, creating voxels in minecraft and exporting them. #Tongue
Just for fun.

With the new release you can make HD texture packs without having to hack the game Wink

Are the minecraft objects stored on your hdd or somewhere online?
Maybe it's worth a thought to create a converter from voxel2minecraft and vice versa.
Though i'm not sure if it's actually easier to "model" in minecraft than in VSE.

It's possible to do such a thing but it would be a pain to do normals.

Although it'd be fun and easy, 3D modelling seems the better option still.

You actually can do something with the objects ingame. We equip most of our units with TNT cannons that reload. There are also plugins to minecraft that will let your tank drive or a kirov fly. Our end goal is to actual make a mod for minecraft that lets you do a C&C mode in a sort of Renegade style. People have modded Minecraft into DotA2, a minecraft version of the Hunger Games, adventure maps, ect..
It's all possible, but we don't have the know-how to do something like that yet.

Anyway I didn't expect so many replies, so thanks for commenting everyone!

Exactly.

And that redeemer drinking a cocktail looks hilarious.
