New Building Freeze!?
Hello guys! I'am new here and I want a help from you guys.,
My Tiberian sun game always freeze when I'am build new Building, the cursor is freeze and the sound is silence itself.

So how can I fix it?
I've check the weapon code and I'am launch the game again,

Do not use TibEd!
Help is not provided here if someone uses TibEd, as this editor messes up the inis and puts in errors, bugs and other nasty things.
Use Notepad, Notepad++, UltraEdit or another text editor to edit the inis. (Don't use Word or Wordpad or they add stupid text formatting, change the character set etc) Last edited by Lin Kuei Ominae on Fri Apr 19, 2013 2:50 pm; edited 1 time in total QUICK_EDIT
I think i might create some type of assertion code that picks up on things like spaces in object names, if its longer than 8 characters etc... QUICK_EDIT

Sup kanehacker, I used tibed at first till my mod crashed and was such a mess I had to recode the whole thing. Get Notepad++ and use a color theme that makes it easy to look at.
You can add any number of vehicles without causing the game to freeze; the only problem is that the AI will keep producing only 1 single unit if there are more than 100 units in total (and you're still far from that amount).
You should add new units and their corresponding weapons one at a time and once you have confirmed it works correctly ingame, you can add the next unit+weapon. That way you'll always know exactly which of the new units or weapons is causing the game to crash. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

What theme is that?

I got a problem again..
Why when I'am add 10 new vehicle,
NOD and GDI is always make that new vehicle,
But, I've put "AIBuildThis=no" to every new vehicle and they still build that new vehicles. _________________ I want to learn more about Tiberian Sun hacking QUICK_EDIT

In the [VehicleTypes] list there shouldn't be more than 100 units or the AI will keep building only the 101st unit in the list. So if you do have more than 100 units in the list, the only way to prevent this from happening without removing any units is by moving all units with TechLevel=-1 to the bottom of the list so that all buildable units (units with a tech level that isn't -1) come before 101= and only units with TechLevel=-1 come after the 100th unit in the list. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
