Editing and Fixing Terrain

Okay, so far I have been editing some of the temperature theater terrains.

I know, I still have to fix some, still figuring out how to make transition between sand and grass to make it smoother. And do anyone know a good dirty road seamless picture, or how to make it. I will be doing total terrain conversion (And maybe some new terrain tiles as well too) for the mod, so yeah. This is just for practicing, not real ones. I want to get use to this first before I actually make the real ones.

My apologize for being not clear. Just nevermind this. I was asking how to make transition terrain smooth, i.e grass to sand. sand to water, pavement to grass and etc. But I understand how to make these transition terrain now, I just need more practicing on those.

Photoshop. Take a 1 full grass tile, 1 sand tile, copy them over each other as separate layers, cut one in half or erase half of it. Then just play with making the edge of the cut more blurred or try to draw it a proper edge. Save the finished transition tile image as a single png file and you can paste the image directly into the tmp editor.

and I suggest to "cut'n'blur" grass image. So once you ll have all type of transitions, all you have to do is replace "sand" with something else.
