Red Alert 1 Soviet Mission Quirk

So I was playing that Soviet Mission where you have to "capture" the chronosphere after destroying the radar domes.

But I'm having a hard time doing this missions since it seems to Greece AI likes to attack Germany so therefore they are destroying the chronosphere themselves.

I don't know if it is intended or a bug of some kind or if the fact that I'm using Arda is playing in somehow.

Arda shouldn't change anything regarding that. Can't check it atm, though. Just don't approach the Chronosphere. Destroy all Allied forces and the mission should be won.

Can't remember ever seeing this. Also don't you HAVE to capture the Chronosphere, else the mission doesn't progress?

It's not that I approach the chronosphere. I read about the whole having to destroy all of the other Allied forces to win, but they don't give me that option.

If I wait too long at my base and the greece AI builds a taskforce of medium tanks and attacks the chronosphere with those and it's longbows. They destroy the chronosphere before I even get close.

Looking at the mission file in RAED shows that Germany and Greece aren't allies so I suppose they could just be attacking the Chronosphere because it's an enemy structure.

It's like the hardest mission in the whole original campaign.

They deliberately destroy it so the soviets can't steal it.

All I remember doing to finish it was building my task forces faster and getting there faster - eventually, all though the chronosphere still gets destroyed, you actually do"win" the mission.
