i'll try to explain this.

I've given my Crazy Ivans remote explosives, and given them Ammo=3.

What i want them to do is only start reloading there ammo after i have detonated the explosives (eg: i place a explosive on a building, ammo is now at 2 and will remain at 2 intill i detonate the explosive, at which point the Ivan will start reloading)

i hope you understand what i mean.

tnx

Use the ammo tags?

Like giving him a low EmptyReload (To make him instantly fill up his 3 ammo once all are detonated) and then put a very high number on Reload.

I'm not sure about this as well since I'm sure the Ammo is only taken into account for firing. Once the bomb is placed its a separate entity. (Aside from remote detonating or giving the exp to the Ivan)

Not gonna work, normal ammo logic is far too simple and has no ties into whole detonate the ivan dynamite thing.

Ammo is used up when weapon simply fires and will just replenish over time in usual fashion, the actual wanted feature would need Ares addition if even possible.

i have another question about the Crazy Ivan.

I've given my Ivan the ability to disguise himself like the spy. The problem is when he places his bombs he stays disguised, making him amazingly unbalanced. Is there anyway i can get him to lose the disguise when placing his bombs?

DisguiseFakeBlinkTime= I believe should work, this is in frames as usual. Logic the mirage tank uses.
Otherwise, put an obvious looking animation on his weapon.

cheers, but that will only work against humans online though, as it is just a visual effect, and even then my units won't automatically attack it, I'd have to tell them to manually.

anyone else know any other ways to solve this problem?

also it seems mixing disguise and Ivan bombs has the annoying side effect of not allowing the Crazy Ivan to place bombs on bridge huts. does anyone have a solution to this as well?
