Open Beta release

Thats right, i decided to go into Open Beta status with this.
The gameplay should have transformed into a more competetive and mechanically more "repaired" way. But i need feedback on that.

How does the gameplay feel to you?
How does PvP feel to you, are the factions more balanced?
Give me input and ideas on how to balance things that need balance in your opinion.

So far, the Mod is standalone,
it'll have a launcher in the future too.

Simply unpack and play.

Hmm, might wanna set a time or some way of quickly communicating between players. I guess I'll look every so often today.

Also come on PPM, out of all the active TS people (me not included) there must be at least 4 players for decent games.

Checked it out myself, first impression is solid but I sadly have grown out of oldskool TS gameplay. And no offense but it seemed like an one hour ini rebalance mod.

there's a little wee bit more than that, but yes you're right, it's very basic, with a few minor touchups, it is Tiberian Sun, and not meant to be anything else. Smile

yeah i might try my luck at another forum.

if some people want to gather, what would be a good time for seeing eachother online?

And you didn't answer to my question. What do we need to use for online MP? Cncnet4 or just direct in the game internet?

if you've unpacked it, simply click on the "Tiberian Sun² - Online.exe"

1am according to the Forum Time seems reasonable, i'll keep an eye on the lobby Smile

Just posting some bugs...

Laser Turret's FLH is off by a bit on height.
The Technician(?) has incorrect sequence. As he goes invisible when attacking. I'm not sure if that guy is a technician the one who randomly pops out of vehicles.

I've uploaded a version that had a few bugfixes, such as an annoying crash issue, the following things have been fixed too:

MSA Speed reduced to 4
Sensor Array range reduced from 25 to 22

Multiplay Maps are from small to large in order now

Technicians don't fire with pistols anymore

Laser Turret FLH is tweaked

I hope banshee could actualize the file on the mirror too...

I wish I could download the whole file. It goes slow as hell here and it stops at 1, 4... 5 megabytes.
