I'm using both. In my private mod the smaller is the regular Apocalypse and the bigger is the Tsar Apocalypse, which is used by Ukraine(They're the "heavy armour" country now, Russia is just "tesla and experimental tech" country) _________________ You can call me Dark or Glace/Glaceon if my name is annoying to type.

Hmm... I am thinking about adding a fifth country for the Soviets. But Czechoslovakia does sound good. I dont know what they should specialize in. "USSR" is just "Russia" in my mod. Well, I do not think that I will have time overall to adding Nod too, but I consider of using alternate method which I planed to do at first place.
Since of introduction of Aliens and cyborgs, Yuri's mind control and chaos gases and mutations would be useless because Aliens and robots are immune to those, so most of Yuri's units will be useless. Therefore he must be redesigned anyway. So, cause I do not have time much for more new sides (I planned to add Forgotten mutants too) and I do not know in that case what to do with Yuri; I will use alternate method, to replace useless Yuri technology with stealth and subterranean technology, so basically Yuri will be what Nod is in TS. No chaos drones, Magnetrons, floating discs, MasterMinds, Initiates (maybe Brutes, but I had plans for mutant factions) Yuri clones and Primes, but instead that, I will add stealth tanks, subterranean transports and devil tonques, bikes and buggies, planes, nod infantries and other exotic stuffs.
And this GDI will most likely be renamed to United Nations, so I will fix problem.

New screenshot of my Intel Cynet comes, with some units.
Defender is basic light tank for them, ripper is anti air-anti infantry, that Predator mech is artillery, Goliath tank fires shells as Apocalypse/Mammoth tank and has anti air missiles (exact unit as them), on left you see harvesters and MCV..... Terror Drone replaces attack dog.

Aliens got Hexapod, GDI (United Nations) will get most likely that Orac's work, that Ion platform and such. Soviets could get Super Tank, Allies and Yuri... well I do not know yet about them.

Well.... heheheheh I just wanna show her my mod and she is also in my mod too. (In the side of GDI) anyway I bet that medium size mech is a siege unit and ohh Core Defender. You might require LKO's gigantic size War Factory
