Hello guys. I'm kinda new to PPM. Recently I saw these remappable walls:
http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33307
Atomic_Noodles said  Ares fixes remappable walls but when I installed them into my YR with ares they didn't. Am I doing something wrong? I tried to put them in the game directory, I put them into expandmd02.mix but they still didnt work. Please help.

Have you tried editing the ArtMD.ini?
Like this:

Code:
[GAWALL]
Cameo=WALLICON
Foundation=1x1
ToOverlay=GAWALL
DamageLevels=3
NewTheater=yes
Remappable=yes; this being the new line in the code

And also with NAWALL and GAFWLL?

Remappable does not nothing IIRC. I would assume they're not working because you only inserted the generic version instead of terrain specific version of the shp files.
When you play on a temperate map, the game still loads an original gTwall shp from the mixes.
So, copy and rename all the walls to their respective terrain specific version so the game will load them instead.
The capitalized letter represents the terrain type of the map.

T;temperate - gTwall
U;urban - gUwall
A;artic - gAwall
D;desert - gDwall
N;new urban - gNwall
L;lunar - gLwall
G;generic (when none of the terrain specific version is present in the mixes, use this instead)

In your case, copy and rename ggwall to gtwall,gnwall,guwall,gdwall, glwall. Use the snow version for gawall. Do the same for the soviet and yuri walls.

EDIT: Thank you ImP for noticing. #Tongue

Nope. I didn't make the walls remappable. Thanks for noticing.

I'm pretty sure all the SHPs I included in the File override the original ones. If not just make copies of it for Temperate, Snow & Generic.

That's what I did, Yuri walls seem to be fine without changing anything though.
