Beach Landing craft
Hi guys. Here's another little question. Recently I saw this old topic http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=27017&postorder=asc&highlight=beach+landing+craft, so I added CanBeach=yes and SpeedType=FloatBeach.
Also I downloaded a little archive with over 200 beach tiles markes as Ice to let ground units get to the transpor. But for me, It only works on regular unpaved beaches and I can't seem to unload units
Can anyone help?

I would say: forget about Beach logic. Its impractical to use it because of bad unit pathfinding on Beach\Ice terrain. Units are very often stuck on thouse terrain types and I haven't seen any good solution yet. _________________ Gangster is a Project Perfect Wuj (c)Aro QUICK_EDIT

If you have the edited beach tiles all you need to do is add SpeedType=FloatBeach to the unit & edit [ice] to FloatBeach=100%. CanBeach=yes doesn't do anything & can be removed.
BTW this is only meant to work on beaches & not paved water edges in urban maps etc. _________________

With these tiles it works perfectly on sandy beaches but it doesn't work on urban shores _________________

Isnt editing beach tiles needed for unit to get to the APC? I thought so... _________________
