This serene image was captured a few weeks before the Reaper invasion. Two Systems Alliance cruisers, the SSV Sarajevo and SSV London, patrol the Pentaurus Cluster on the outskirts of Alliance space, helping combat pirate raids against worlds in the Takara and Darvano systems.

All the Lighting and Rigging done in 3DS Max 2011, with very little post work done in Photoshop CS5.5. I had to make some major changes to the textures, including creating my own self-illumination and glare maps. Roughly 8 hours of work. I'm still not happy with the normals/bump maps. I may do some more edits to them, or remove them entirely and just extrude the armor panels. You can see a low-res (very) short animation of these two ships arriving in the cluster here [LINK]

If there are enough requests, I can render an extreme resolution large enough for posters for Print purchases.
