idea is nice, but implementation is bad
-colors are too simple (like a windows Paint job)
-too big and unfitting

the last gigantic blue crystals are better, but way too big.

btw, 1 single picture would have been enough.

Scale is way way off...the color way too bright......its bad enough that the buildings scale do not match the cells as it is....... A cell is roughly 9 ft by 9 by by 3 1/2 ft. Buildings like the hospital... whats the size 5by3? that would be 45 by 27, obviously the wrong scale by look.

I don't see your point LKO. Yes, his perspective is wrong but that could be replaced by a better graphic.. duh. I make all my .shp respecting the grids.

Don't know how in the USSR but thats how it actually was in LSSR(Latvian Soviet Socialist Republic),but right now we have a "will pay when we feel like it" system   Sad

Obviously you still don't get it. Having the correct perspective doesn't only mean "it fits into a cell" -  the whole shape has to fit and doesn't have to look distorted
and copy pasting stuff from pictures does not result in the right perspective.

cjy4312's hand painted stuff had actually a better and more correct perspective than the copy pasted stuff i've seen from you. Though in this case it is more due to the quite random shape, direction and angle of the crystals where it is hard to make out the perspective.

I think some ambient light changes would do this map well. Even if the tib doesn't reflect the detail of the other graphics, it still gives the map an interesting feel

I don't get your personal grief. This thread is not about my .shps. And I caefully use the reference grid. I don't "copy paste", I use distort, skew, and perspective tools, and I superimpose perfect renders from 3D to use for reference. Paste one of my finished buildings over a WW building and they have the exact same perspective.
However you are just against the method because to you everything has to be total 3D without manual editing hurrdurr.
Which yields awfully dull shaded results, that are OK for TS but not for RA2 (mechs and such)
You have lost the craftmanship of menial labour.

Is it weird to find it funny NimoStar can derail a thread in a matter of 3 posts?

I don't get the concept of that CnP building either, it's a grinder repair bay? Putting the complete opposite ends together. You want players to drive units into the Grinder part, then let them be repaired by the repair bay?

RP its from Red Alert 3 - They're supposed to act as Auxiliary Construction Yards (Hence the Crane) and as Recycling Stations (Ala Grinder) the Drones flying around it are the ones doing the repairing.

It's not my fault that RA3 designers were illogical. Having the same structure both repair and scrap units... (and after patch 1.12 soviets were the weakest)

And I made that all by myself (I used some parts from RA2 buildups and a lot of CS5)

LKO is the one that made it about me ("I was talking to you, not him")

, I only was commenting on the Tiberium and got him a link to improve the graphs.
