Yuri's revenge internal error

Hello.

I'm having a problem in yuri's revenge,everytime i try to start an allied campaign , the game gives me an internal error.

I checked the except.txt and my eip is :0073C762

I found this code on modenc,and it says : The artmd.ini entry specified by a Voxel-using VehicleType's Image tag is missing - the game defaults to Voxel=no in this case and attempts to load and draw a non-existant SHP.

It's weird since i dont have a mod running.

Any clue on this?

must have some mod files not removed from YR folder.

Impossible.I reinstalled the game and the problem persists,what could cause this error?

Re-installed how?
Uninstall --> Install
Or:
Uninstall --> Remove left-over files --> Install?

If you uninstall a game, it does not mean every single file is deleted.
Uninstall the game, remove every left overs and then install the game again, it should work.

I figured what the problem is.The mod i was running was launched using xcc mod launcher.However whenever im not playing the mod, the rules of the mod are still applied to the game. For example, in this mod, you can start with 60000 credits,when i launch the game it shows that i can start with 60000 credits,eventhough i didnt launch the mod.

So in short, the mod seems to have affected my YR files or something, even when i reinstall...

I fixed this problem by doing this:

I extracted rulesmd,artmd,and ai.ini to the game directory, so they overwrite the mods "hidden" files,and now i can play the vanilla game.

I still dont know how did this mod affect my YR files though.

Yeah, so you didn't uninstall properly.

You should try the tool "RA2YRCleanUp", I bet that will solve all your issues (non mental only).
