Subject description: Cant seem to find a tutorial about it anywhere =(

I do alot of research on my own and it's been helping me alot, but returning to TibSun modding after and almost 10 year hiatus has seen alot of my old standyby sites for resources and tutorials gone =(. Thank you for helping me out these past few days as I continue to ask more questions.

Anyway, Im trying to create new Drop Pod Superweapon that drops a new unit I created. Is this possible?

The DropPod SuperWeapon is hardcoded to spawn randomly E1 and/or E2.

So either you replace those 2 infantry with your new ones and give GDI and Nod new E1 and E2 infantry. You then also have to edit all occurances of the 2 in rules.ini (e.g. keys like Crew) and ai.ini (all teams that use them should then use the new units)

Or you open game.exe with a hexeditor and replace the 2 strings E1 and E2 with those of your new infantry, e.g. D1 and D2. You can find the 2 strings when you search for ChemLauncher, right after that follow the two. (Note: do not change any offsets in game.exe by adding longer strings to it, so keep the two IDs 2 character long)

I'm planning to change the crew that appears whenever I initiate a drop pod superweapon activation. E1 with E1GDI only though. Therefore, I'll follow the hex editing procedure.
