Serious Sam Series

Steam is having another sale, and one bundle that caught my eye was the Serious Sam Series for £10.49.
I have never played any games in the Serious Sam series before, but the deal is a really good one in terms of value, so I wanted some opinions from you guys whether or not it's worth buying?

Do you enjoy going on a massacre while shouting AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH in epic levels Rambo-style with supaepic weaponry?

If the answer is yes to this question... then why do you even need confirmations?!

It's funny, it has loads of enemies per level, and it has awesome weaponry. Only don't play any higher then normal, or you will get massacred #Tongue

It's one of my personal favourites FPS games.

Not sure if the pack is worth it. If you get the HD ones why would you bother the old not HD ones? And then that side scroll shooter... wouldn't 3 and the HD ones and the dlc be cheaper than the pack? The sledgehammer is awesome. Serious Sam 3 BFE Gold seems like the better package imo as the old games meh they're just good for a nostalgia trip.

True. Since I have the HD remakes of SS1 (both Encounters) I have not touched the old versions anymore. Never played the spinoff games either. If possible, get just the HD remakes of SS1 and SS3:BFE.

It depends on what sort of FPS you enjoy. These are FPSs meant to mimic Quake and DOOM, where it's you (and your co-op buddies) cleaning house against hundreds and sometimes thousands of bizarre enemies with a fairly diverse, but not overly flashy weapon set.

I would recommend it.
