I have read on this forums for years and I have noticed that there are a lot of pro-DRM and encryption guys here so I figured this forum would be a good place to ask.

There is a site where you can listen to sound and buy them(i e they are not free). I am planning to record(ripping) them and use them in my game which will be a 100% freeware.

Can I get sued? Should I be worried?

If you mean soundtracks from C&C games then the first step would be contacting Frank Klepacki and asking him for his permission http://frankklepacki.com/

Dunno. From the streams of Mental Omega I hear that they use Frank Klepacki's own music (from his CDs) in the mod, but I dunno if they have permission or not from the man himself.
It most likely largely depends whether it will be used in a project that is free or paid. If it's the latter, the chances of you getting sued are definitely much higher.

They have Frank's permission to use his music.

Seriously? Damn, MO is really going the full mile. I approve of this (and of Frank to let them use his music).
