AI Trigger Weight Min/Max
I'm confused with AI min max weight. What does it do exactly? Is it like % of chance that it will build units and use it? If I want the AI to have long delay interval, how can I do it so? _________________ Mod Leader and founder of World Domination
AIHateDelays - gives time before first attack by the AI
TeamDelays - gives interval between creating teams
Weightage in AITriggers is defined as starting value, minimum value it can reach, maximum value it can
reach. Example 50.000000,10.000000,70.000000
AITriggerSuccessWeightDelta, AITriggerFailureWeightDelta, AITriggerTrackRecordCoefficient defines the
success/failure measure for re-evaluation. But can be left as it is, they are good enough.
What determines the success/failure is the 49,0 instruction in their respective scripts.
TS doesn't use 49,0 for infantry attacks and has constant weightage in its AITriggers, but RA2 does.
A constant value like 50.000000,50.000000,50.000000 is not affected by success/failure delta.
But they take part in strategy. Like when an enemy is strong, then attack on general structures
scripts keep failing and their weghtage goes below base defense attack scripts. So the base defense
attack gets a chance.
Over time the track record is lost and failed triggers are back in business again.
For testing it is helpful to set them at say 5000.00000 temporarily.
Base Defense teams are different and are created regularly.
