I recreated SpySatSW from NPatch, and perfected it a little. Aslo, I want to thank AlexB for help in code.

Type=SpySat
Default values for general tags:
[SuperWeapon]►SW.ActivationSound= (sound)
       Defaults to [AudioVisual]►SpySatActivationSound

[SuperWeapon]►SW.AITargeting= (enum)
       Defaults to Self

[SuperWeapon]►SW.AutoFire= (boolean)
       Defaults to yes

[SuperWeapon]►SW.ManualFire= (boolean)
       Defaults to no

Spy Sat specific tags:
[SuperWeapon]►SpySatSW.Check= (boolean)
       Enable check. Defaults to no

[BuildingType]►SpySatSW.IsCheck= (boolean)
       This building is involved in the check. Defaults to no

If SpySatSW.Check=yes, then after activation the Spy Sat Super Weapon will begin the surveillance of buildings with SpySatSW.IsCheck=yes. If such the building is not found, then it will shroud the entire map.
Exception: If at least one building with SpySatSW.IsCheck=yes is not found, and is found an active Spy Sat ( SpySat=yes ), the surveillance  stops and map will not shroud.

How exactly does this work does it just trigger the same map revealing effect the crate does?

If I send a spy to sabotage the radar will I have to wait for the Spy Satellite SW to trigger again for it to reveal the map?

Cooooooool. Jem, this is actually a RA1 SW recreation.

I'm at work, but I gonna play with this at home this weekend. Will it get committed back to standard Ares codebase?

I would like it to be included in the 0.8 or 0.9. But it does not depend on me, AlexB the decision is made. With regard to the source code, then you can get it here

Yeah I know I was just asking clarification on it. Though with this method it pretty much lets allies abuse the gap generator overpower mode to increase shroud then depower it back to normal if they figure out the timer on the enemies own Spy Satellites. Smile
