[Mission 1] Kiev Under Siege

Kiev Under Siege

Briefing

For 6 years, the Ukrainians were left in the shadow with no electricity, scarce food and supply. The Russians have the complete control over Ukraine's airspace and the capital city of Ukraine. N.A.T.O Committee members have come to an agreement that they will send in special task force with supply convey to remote outskirt where most of Ukrainians refugee resides. From there, they will supply the Ukrainians with guns and ammo. Your task is to start the uprising and break free from the Soviet sphere of influence. Vladimir Putin will not see that coming!

Main Objective - Retake Kiev
Side Objective - Search for local Ukrainians to join your militia force.
Objective 1 - Destroy Soviet Radar
Objective 2 - Destroy Tesla Reactors
Objective 3 - Defend Kiev and Neutralize Russian Forces until Allied Nation send in army to regain control.

I will not post video of this mission yet. But will be in release. Just to grasp the idea how the story will unfold.

This mission takes part in Allied Europe Campaign.

Will there be a mission about a uncurable plague in africa and killing cults in the middle east too?

Nope, no part about Ebola. But there will be chaos in Africa where it is also under heavy Soviet influence when Russia and China is at peak of global power.

There will be ISIS as well that are being funded by Russia and China even though ISIS hates Russia. You ought to know about that because I posted about ISIS in some of units where they use certain units and the stuff.

But meh, I prefer to keep RL Issues away from my fictional works.

It's always better if fiction touches on real issues and scenarios, as long as it's handled well. This is the point of fiction, to address things that can't always be addressed directly.

I'd argue a lot if this was not a game forum... Now I think I must make such a map from my point of view.

Edit: I reccomend you to rename this mission to make the mod not touch politics is such an open way.

Indeed. I would agrue as well too. You are more than welcome to create maps from your point of view for Russia campaign. :3

But, Of course I do not live in Ukraine or Russia, and therefore I do not know what it is like living there.

As far as I am working for this mod, I'm only taking events across the global involving wars and civil wars then escalate them into WW3 6 years later. I will want to use organizations that were involved in current year that continue to have active presence in the World War 3.

it's interesting to make a mission based on current politics, but yeah it's VERY risky. It can hit some people close to home for some people. Like the time I overreacted to a potential TI mission involving the Twin Towers.

I've gotten a little more easy going since then, but I'll admit, I don't want to entertain the thought of fighting Russia in the real world. That would make Gangster an I enemies! Sad

I won't ever do anything about fighting Russians in real life, nor I support world war 3, though I was trying to be funny. None of this will really happen in real life. I hope everyone will not take it too serious, it is game. I mean c'mon. It is game...

And I think most of Americans are little more open minded about Twin Towers now than 13 years ago when it happened. But still it is touchy event.
