He practically textured the RA2 assets properly and fixed the quantization artifacts from WW's model-to-voxel software. Back to the original post - go less monochrome. It's a great work, but a bit too light and imo needs more contrast as well. The shape is exactly the same (as i wrote, no difference to original VXL)
When i read "re production" in title, i expected a new voxel.
Taking screenshots from WWW (no RA2 at hand) to compare original with the downscaled low quality preview jpg.
-texture is brighter (too bright)
-some black holes are fixed (at least they seem to be, which is hard to tell on the low quality preview)
-much less details though due to less complex and way too smooth texture
in my eyes, not an improvement
A good Before/After comparison screenshot would be helpful. At least for those who aren't that familiar with RA2 like Graion Dilach.
For example, I still can't see on VXL viewer screenshots how well the normals turn out ingame. I also can't see there if black holes are fixed due to missing Bounds scaling in VXL viewer.
But then again, i'm not such a pro like GD. He can surely see things that others can't.

Now that you forced me to compare the VV shots, I am more impressed in the actual work. Yes, it needs more contrast and a tad darker shades, however, all shapes are remade from scratch - with handmade detailing, iow certainly won't messed up autonormals iow black holes are less likely to present.
Oh, the shapes are not exactly the same. Look at the front of the Destroyer, his hull is taller than WW's. Or look at the comparison. I'm even doubting the amount of details being lower, since the WW voxels were all damn pale (the ones added in YR were different, because they got details which just rendered the voxel into a mess instead).

The shading & detailing is a lot better but they have all been recolured to dark allied blue, without the contrasting light blue parts the voxels look a lot blander IMO. _________________
