World Domination News Update #2
And we are back with monthly update number two! This has been quite a busy progression as we are nearing toward our first closed beta testing, and we have so many news to share with you! We are working hard on tweaking and adjusting the units and structures around, including new artworks. Over the month, we have shown our new polished voxels, new artwork for structures such as Allied Barracks, and some cool units like Wasp Drone for Korea. Six new incoming maps and not to forget to mention that there are campaign missions as well too!
Over the course of month, Six new maps are created and there will be also new maps coming along in the upcoming month.
And there is some single player campaign teaser. This is the first mission which takes the setting in Crimea, Russia as your primary goal is to invade it and gain control of it in order to win it.
Not only we did the work for the new structures and units. I also redid the loading screen and to be honest, it looks pretty awesome.
Because you're making an odd link between the present day leader of Russia and an historical country with dodgy history and commonly depicted as the enemy in western entertainment. It just seems like another way to feed this weird second cold war by drawing a direct parallel between the two, as if the USSR and Russia are interchangeable.
It's also strange to me that you name Putin but not a real leader of the United States. I thought at least if you wanted to make this at all satirical (which you do if you include real modern world issues) then it should do just that, some kind of conflict between the current US and Russia. It's a cliche and depressing but at least making a point. At the very least it shouldn't be oddly skewed with one side taking on real attributes and the other a fiction, especially in an independent media project that should probably try to avoid the constant propagandist simplifications or one sided fantasies. If you're bringing in politics you should at least be fair about it. QUICK_EDIT

I would use the real U.S president if I can make sense out of it. But it is not possible since in U.S the president are limited to two terms whereas the president of Russia have unlimited number of terms, meaning they can be elected many times as they can (but non-consecutive)
Remember, this story takes in 2020, which makes Putin elected on the fourth term (2018 - 2024) I would prefer Putin over any russian president because it sounds more bad-ass if he is the leader of Russia while also bringing back the U.S.S.R former glory. _________________ Mod Leader and founder of World Domination
