Subject description: how to do it without Ares.dll ?		 Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread
I recently tried to add a new sidebar for Yuri but failed. I also noticed that changing the soviet sidebar ( sidec02 ) also changes yuri's sidebar, except for the radar. How ( IF it is possible ) can we add a new sidebar for soviets without using Ares.dll or Npatch.

Okay, then is it possible with any patch other than Ares.dll? I am working on a mod and i don't want to lose savegame feature.
I have even seen tiberian sun mods with 3 unique sidebars.

TS got a few hacks applied directly to the exe to make 3 different sidebars work (hacks which are afaik not available for YR).

Though you can check C&C Executable Modifier. It should include the latest hacks.yr.ini and maybe a hack was already done.

They were not available because there was Rock Patch, NPSE and Ares which all enabled that.
