definatly the kirov, against 8 brutal AI's thry all send 3 kirov's at roughly the same time, there's no way you can get enough patriot's up and build enough rocketeer's to prepare for that. QUICK_EDIT

I defend them all with IFV...now, the most irritating unit is... Prism Tank. If one unit like that enters in your base and fires, you loose half of your base... QUICK_EDIT
ok, Kirovs are no prob. I always have tons of IFV, jumjets, and air defense. Heres what bothers me, I hate those damn master minds! They suck. There always messing up my army. I actually like prisms because Im always using them. There good because they can hit any defense without them being hit except the grand Cannon(the team I always use.) And the Demo truck can be annnoying but, if you monitor your radar like a mad man(like me) you can usually spot them early and send some jets to take it down. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
I'd go with Banshee's opinion about the Prism Tanks. They're good when you're using them but very annoying when they're used against you. Its just the fact that they can out-range base defense. QUICK_EDIT

I hate gatling tanks and Yuri Clones
My favorite stratagy is airforce, and gattling tanks chew them up quickly.
Yuri's always devastate me because the computer always tell them to attack my more powerful units.

In my experience the most unbalanced unit is the prism tank. With just one tank like this you could resize a whole base into the ashes in a few minutes (even seconds).
Well, the mastermind is pretty annoying too if you go to the enemy base with those nice tanks.
The Kirov is not that annoying because the air defenses are cheap and you can make a lot of IFVs or Half trucks in a moment. QUICK_EDIT
I use grizzly's at prisms, they are fast enough to kill them.

Prism Tanks are very annoying... The best counter for those are apocs and... War miners
Kirovs are no problem, just build a bunch of IFVs or Flak Tracks. Remember, they're not much more expensive than base defenses, they are mobile and quick, and they don't eat power for breakfast. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Rocketeers don't do enough damage... Flak Tracks and IFVs can stay out of the kirov bombs if you keep them on the move and make sure they're never right under the kirovs. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
The Prism Tank shouldn't be able to shoot through walls, and shouldn't be able to stop moving vehicles when firing. How can light stop/push a vehicle ? Isn't it only heat ?
The Prism Tank is nothing but an overpowered Laser Tank to me, and they could have just called it that aswell. Heck, laser would be more realistic than a pushing exploding light beam.

I personally think the Kirov and Prism tank are far too overpowered. After all, there are only two main ground units that can attack outside base defence range, the V3, which is about as good as a civilian, because it never hits, and the Prism tank, which is overpowered and ridiculously long-ranged. Also, with the veterancy system, it reaches elite as soon as it blows up a battle lab.
I don't have a problem with the mastermind, easiest way to stop it is to send wave after wave of GIs or conscripts at it. It'll mind control them all and get a brainwave overload. _________________

imo RA2 is kinda balanced. What i hate is that russia can own allies tanks. so if your russia and you rush allies with ya tanks you will most likely win. QUICK_EDIT

Anyway i know everyone will be like life wtf but i really hate terror drones, you send 2 yuri primes & since you cant mind control terror drones they jump & kill in one go, plus if they infest yoru tanks it takes ages to goto a repair depo so when the tank is destroyed it goes on to infest another & you have to destroy your own tank to save yourself. Indeed the terror drone is like a doggie for infantry AND tanks, gah! QUICK_EDIT
