The Bastion is an odd looking drone that serves as the Omicron Matrix's primary combat vehicle. It has been given nicknames such as "Walking Fridge", "Blockhead", and "The Brick" due to it's appearance while it's manner of movement has also garnered it the nickname "Shuffler". To be expected of an Omicron machine, it is rather slow but well armored and armed with a pair of medium lasers that are generally effective against vehicles and infantry but less so against structures. Befitting of it's defensive role, it can transform into it's siege mode where it's large turret opens up to reveal a large caliber gun that requires it's legs to double as stabilizers. It is incapable of movement in this mode but it's gun fires shells that are more effective at damaging groups of units. These shells are also loaded with Catalyst warheads designed to react violently with Tiberium, making it effective at neutralizing Tiberium-based lifeforms which includes pretty much the entirety of The Forgotten and Scrin.

-Tiberium-based units take extra damage from catalyst warheads
