Reproduce CABAL voice

Does anyone know or have any ideas what was done with CABAL's voice to make it sound like it does? Just wondering how possible it would be to reproduce his voice for new sound files.

I don't know exactly what WW did, but afaik it is Joe Kucans voice altered with synthesizers and effects similar to those you can also find in tools/programs like Audacity (though WW probably had a bit more professional equipment to add effects).

Using Audacity and combinations of the available effects, you can create quite close results or at least a robotic sounding voice. To match the exact same voice is almost impossible imo.

If you only need some new short phrases, you can also use the existing sound files and copy/paste something together using single words from different files.

I'm not sure, but since Cabals face is already Kucans, i assume he also lend his voice for Cabal.

cabals voice consists of a simple phaser or stabilized flanger effect, try to experiment with those if you have music equipment or a sequencer.

It might be a good tutorial, if someone tries to create a CABAL voice using one of the Text 2 Speech voices as the base, and then describes which filters were used.

This way everyone can reproduce the effect and get the same results.

Milton James, according to IMDB, did the voice acting for CABAL. If you could find a normal sound clip of hes voice, it might be a good test bed for getting the effect correct.

you don't need his voice, just learn to talk like "cabal"
but sound filters are necessary

Is this why WW devs often misspelled it as Cabaal? #Tongue

He actually sounds a lot like the Nod Emissary in TW.

There is a way to edit all the files en masse, and then automatically export all the tracks as individual files. I did that when I made the Beta EVA voice

wow, it even automatically adjust intonation towards the end of a sentence and create completely new words with the same voice.

I see already in future every tiny text being spoken by Morgan Freeman voices.

So in future even voice audio errors can be fixed in post production. Like replacing all "fucks" with "fluffy" instead of bleeping them out.
Even official comments, interviews, political speeches can be completely changed in their content without anyone noticing.

You could do a perfect recreation of cabal's voice by dissecting clips and arranging pieces of words together and changing pitch, but you have to have the patience for it.

That just reminds me, (Sorry if my English was incorrect) There's this voice that cringy GoAnimaters use when a character is completely mad. by doing some research, this voice is called Damien. I remember its name from VoiceForge, which doesn't work for me. (can it work for you?) so I found cepstral, which has a demo: https://www.cepstral.com/en/demos
