RealYR - The Way YR Should Be

Alonsomania · Vehicle Driver **Joined**: 17 Jan 2005

I started ages ago with this mod,in TibEd (yes,i know Laughing

) and now going to remake the whole thing.
Maybe i will do it in RA1 style, and i'm going to lower the prices i guess.
Any help would be welcome (and if any voxel artist/shp artist have some free time,i guess i can use their time!)

So i hope you guys will be able to assist me some time, since it will be my first try with ini editing!

since my TS isnt working well... (ehm.),i suppose i'll join your team. i reccomend incorporating Voxel Debris into YR. 1:im a freak for it. 2:it adds ALOT of graphical value and makes sexplosions much more dynamic(eg:on Black Hawk, when it hits the ground, send the roters flying off from the crash, and an alternate, destroyed hull) bombs from Kirovs, missiles hurled from PATRIOT SAM sites,Ospreys/Hornets flying from the Carrier/Destroyer as it submerges into the unforgiving seas. PM me.i have some YR gfx edited..

i'm going to make the gameplay better, and make the teams even strong.
I am also looking for some voxels, mostly are already made:

- Some Choppers for Soviets
- Strong Battletank for Yuri

Maybe someone can even make some concepts for it!

Your help is welcome, and i don't really understand how to code,so maybe someone can help me with that!

You dont have to remove the germans to give the TNKD to everybody...i'd remove the futuristic/lame stuff. 'specally the Weather storm and give the allies a nuclear bomb,IMO.

Hopefully there are 2 people without jobs now:

1 Cameo Artist
1 Pre-Coder,he would make the codes for units, and i will insert them into RealYR. I hope someone can do that.

And,in a film,i saw something that looked like an Prism Tank #Tongue

cool,i hope you will be online soon!

Some changes which may be in the game:

Sidewinder (Allieds) Replaces the Guardian GI,has only a bazooka, not a machinge gun

Centurion Siege Crawler (Allieds + Soviets) Result from the ally of the Allieds and Soviets,it has no crew so this tank was made to conquer yuri

Shrink that Centurion down to Robot Tank size, and give it to the Soviets. that unit was purley soviet. and Savagewar has 2 voxels you might want(the RA Yakolev Plane, and the MAKO plane from the concept.)

the soviets doesn't have a Robot tank, and the Allied Robot Tank is way to weak.

TA is the best RTS ever: Total Annihilation.

Graphics are outstanding for it's time ('97) and still the gameplay is better than RA2. Hard Enemy's are a pain to kill #Tongue

About RealYR:

I *might* add at some countries a 2nd nation-only unit. And i might change Korea into Japan, and Libya into North-Korea Wink

Just thinking, has anyone ever tried to convert TA into the TS/RA2 universe?
