Hi all,

It's been a while and just looking to get back into things, wondered if there was a place where there's links to common issues / the most recommended modding programs.

XCC - What's the most stable / reliable, I recall some having features other versions did not.

RA2/YR with Origin - Anyway to launch RA2 and YR without having to go through the origin launcher and then the pick RA2 or YR launcher? I've done some googling for this and couldn't find anything.

I recall speaking to Apollo a while back about a Windowed mode fix which didn't require 16bit color I might be wrong but if anyone could shed some light that would be awesome.

I guess that's all my questions for now and maybe we could compile a list of these kind of things for an easy getting started for newer members / returning members if there is any interest.

If you don't need single player, you can download the games from XWIS for free... best bet since they are based on retail versions of the games.

So in a search for a community discord for modding I found what I was looking for which is the fixing windowed mode to not require 16bit color.
