@kenosis:
The low-polyness is quite visible at this size.
How about using a simple "Hair and Fur" modifier on all separate meshes? This should cover the visible seams between them.

I wasn't aware that RA2 still suffers under the same bug, where FiringFrames need to be reversed in the SHP to be played forward ingame.
