Hey,

do you know of any way to merge multiple voxel sections into one solid voxel.
I know multiple sections are used to make moving tracks or walker legs but i find it useful for combining different voxels - problem is, as you may know, that those semi-merged voxel do not overlap correctly from all angles.

Is there another program?

Greetings Smile

This isn't such a simple request, each section can have a different canvas size and scale (shrunk via bounds) that totally change the relationship between the dots in one and the dots in another. That's not including HVA transforms/moves.

You'd have to take into account an as-rendered scene and probably fudge a lot of the merged result.

Ok,

thnaks to your informative answer I solved the special problematic case I had with erasing overlapping voxels - no overlap, no problems!

Thnak you! Smile

The way to do it is simple, though. Provided that both the canvase size and voxel scale are the same (i.e. they look fine when you reset the voxel bounds for both.), you will need to:

1. use XCC Mixer to convert the voxels in question into text documents.
2. copy the contents of said text documents, and paste them one after the other inside a new text file.
3. use xcc mixer to convert the new text file into a voxel.

The result really depends on getting the preparations right (the size and scale), but it is possible.
