[GLA] Rebel
Subject description: Generals Conversion, RA2 sized
UPDATE 3/14/2020
I redid the rebel to make it more fitting with ra2 infantry. Includes stand, walk, idle A, idle B, injured stand, limp, death A, death B, fire, cheer, and paradrop frames, as well as "fake" shadows. Includes Ra2 sized and the large version.
it's too tall, thin and lanky for the RA2 style
rule of thumb when creating infantry for TS/RA2: create normal proportioned human, then squash him down to 75% height but keeping width and depth the same.
Then do further adjustments to push up the thickness of the body to fit well into the game. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection: Nod buildings
Thanks for the pointer. I scaled the RPG trooper down to 75% of his original height, think this is more acceptable? I am going to do jarmen next, but I figured the RPG trooper is a good unit to get the scale right since he stands up straight.

Just compare the front-facing end result with the Engineer to get a good result, I'd say. _________________ "If you didn't get angry and mad and frustrated, that means you don't care about the end result, and are doing something wrong." - Greg Kroah-Hartman

I'll play around with the scales when I get home tonight. At first glance I am liking the more squat RPG trooper. If this works out well, and I can manage to convert the units faster, I should have about 20 infantry from generals. QUICK_EDIT
I for one welcome not bulky infantry. In fact "ra2style" infantry should be redone in "tall and lanky" way
Can we have the high one for download?
Plus is the short one, the proportions are noticeable wrong to the eye. The original Ra2 models weren't "2d shortened", rather their 3d limbs were "stuffed". _________________
