I have a question guys ?

I make a mod.In my mod one sides' infantry has only one weapon and it can be used only when deployed.(Primary=deployed,no secondary)

The problem is, when I create a AI trigger by myself for AI, it is OK.

But in skirmish,when they take damage,they just sit there and waited to be killed (no retaliate) How to make them always use their weapon?

By editing rulesmd.ini, aimd.ini or artmd.ini ?

I don't know.May I use a dummy primary weapon for them? Shocked

But I want them to use more powerful weapon when deployed.

Even I give an attack order,they try to, but don't succes. I myself make them deployed, and they fire away to every ground enemy as well. Smile

DeployToFire= tag works for only vehicles...It is a pity...

did you _try_ giving them a dummy primary weapon? Just take the GI, and replace his primary with a virtual scanner-type weapon.

Have to give them the deploy weapon as secondary, dummy primary. But the AI won't use it correctly as they don't actively choose to deploy these infantry mid battle.

They'll use it properly on defensive teams though.

Thanks.I thought that will only work for defensife teams.It is OK then. I tried Virtual Scannner(NeverUse=) thing but didn't work neither.Thanks for your helpful messages. Smile
