First, you have to make it clear, are you really talking about "Fog of War" or "Shroud"? Because in vanilla RA2 their is no "Fog of War", the black one is called "Shroud" as it is in flags like ShroudGrow, ShroudRate and MoveToShroud (this one was actually used in TS), while FoW does exist but is never used.

Sight of any technotypes remove FoW and Shroud around itself, but do note that due to how the in-game rangefinder works, any Range, Sight greater than 11 won't work perfectly as they do when under 11, and CellSpread greater than 11 cause IE when the warhead is going to detonate. Ares solved the IE problem, but the rest is still the same. QUICK_EDIT
When I go into the rules and shut off the Shroud and start the game, the screen stays black and won't start and I can't find a way to fix this.
That's why I wanted to give a building the same ability to shut off the shroud so that I can leave the shroud on in the rules while the building on the map would shut it off...unless you know how to reveal everything on a map. QUICK_EDIT
