Finally, here it is, the 2.4 update for Return of the Dawn.

It doesn't do much, but still it's a recommended download, since some of those few changes have some siginificant impact on the balance.

what this patch does:

-damage of nuclear explosion increased.
-ion cannon damage slightly increased as well.

-both temple of nod and
-advanced comm. center are no longer capturable.

-chance of internal errors on winter maps decreased.

-flamethrowers and chem spray infantry no longer hurt themself when firing
(note: this affects the FT/CS infantry that is firing, not other FTs/CS infantries around).

-updated heli transport voxels by Carnotaurus.

RotD 2.4 Download

Errr... people doesn't know exactly how to make an airstrike in TS. The engine is kinda limited to this thing.

That's because the description he used were in the first patch. But the released 2.4 comes with my files and my rotdxp06.mix works very well here.

I wrote decreased, because I couldn't test it myself.

@DoMoNiC_HuNtEr: Airstrikes are simply impossible in TS, sorry.

Hi there, im new to this site and my first impression is just excellent, you guys sure have taken this modding thing really deep, i like modding games, specially CnC ones.

I've been modding CnC for about 4 years, and I first knew this site about 2 years ago, but it was impossible for me to join it due to my studies. Although i've been modding for a while, my experience is not as vast as yours, as seen in your mods.

RotD is great, i never played CnC TD, but i have to say that the graphics work is great, specially the nuke effect and the remake of the voxels.

As for TSTW, i've also played it and i should say it is even greater (of course, not taking out merits from RotD), resize of voxels was good, and the new fona and CABAL's art is just great.

Good work you have here guys, i hope you release the so-awaited Final Dawn, and i bet you ill try to be the first to download it.

Err... sorry if i went too long but i had to say it, and i thought this was the right thread to post something like this, if not, please notify me ASAP.
