Tech Offshore Oil Derek + Engineer
and for these evenings amusement ....
Its not finished yet, i still yet to add the flag.
I used a naval yard that was fixed and uploaded (not sure if created by) xuetianyi as a base. But i somewhat heavily modified it.,
I also not sure about how an Engineer is going to capture it, or if engineers can capture Naval structures at all
if it is possible to have an amphibious engineer capture this thing, i will probably make the crane functional from its new position. So it doubles up as service depo. Heres TMP Damage and Flag Animations + Flag Shadow (which is non-existent in game files)
Temp is complete if not i do some Rubble for it. Like normal Oil Dereks.
Ofc the Flag is optional. ( i think i prefer without) :S
Currently i have it set up like a normal structure, but i intially tried to set it up the same as civilian tech structures AKA the artmd.ini entry is called CAOSOILD (stands for Civilian (Alpha) Off Shore Oil Derek) similar to CAOILD(alpha oil derek) and i have its tmp version file is listed as CGOSOILD, and it doesnt use DemandLoad. But i wanted to name it CTOSOILD like CTOILD(oil derek) using the "T" instead of the "G" but last night the building was not visible in the game like this and i couldn't figure out why.
I'll have another try this afternoon at setting it up like a true tech structures art entry. But if you do understand why plz tell me.

CA means "Civilian Arctic", the second character in section name is used for different theater graphics. Check https://www.modenc.renegadeprojects.com/Theatres for how this mechanic works. QUICK_EDIT
I'm just gonna sort out a bit of colour loss on some of this Remap barely noticable. and then i'l Zip Up.
I highly suggest using the structure W/OUT the Flag anim.
Forgive my units coming out of my Oil Dereks in the vids, i havent removed FactoryType, as i was having trouble placing them in the water in FA2 this is why i based my version at least of of the naval yard. Very little code editing has been done atm all graphic work. QUICK_EDIT
Tech flags are for noobs, I'll be finishing the Snow version soon

I was about to say same! I agree on that. In matter of fact, we have plenty of stuff which we can use as decoration on ground, but no much for water. _________________

I have added Rubble Frames but it appears that Rubble cannot be created on water :/ LeaveRubble=yes - even though rubble is frame 3.
If i can get the rubble to spawn i will improve it, but something tells me it just wont because its water tiles. ^^ i have cleaned up that odd pixel there.

You should try advanced rubble with Ares, force it to be immune so that you cannot attack it anymore and give it an even more damaged image as an active animation that is translucent at about 50%, that will alone look like it's underwater, destroyed and unrepairable.
And as a bonus that area is also denied movement. _________________
