They don't actually matter at all due to how shadow frames are treated in game.

Also they used the same asset in other mods like the Confederation Firebrand from Red Resurrection, Mythos from Final War, and the Sanctuary Guardians Warlock Elite from the upcoming mod called The Desolated Future.

However, this SHP is a public asset. So other modders can use it.

It's really not that hard.
I could probably whip up one in 5-10min and all I'd do is mostly mod existing vanilla sequence, if not much less.
And I know I'm a mediocre modder at best.

10 minutes work per downloaded  554 Time(s) = 92,3 man hours of work.

That could be prevented by 5 seconds work pasting a plaintext string.

Plus 1 good community-perfected sequence > 500 buggy ad hoc sequences.

Even vanilla sequences have errors.

The amount of effort you have spent creating posts expecting someone else to hand you (or anyone else) perfect code could have been spent creating and posting the perfect code you seek.

It is indeed not difficult. Heck, an average modder can easily learn how to do the sequence. Just a little trial and error and it should not take more than 30 minutes.

So what? What if they do not want to share it? So are you just going to whine because no one provides the sequence for you? How spoiled you are lol. Yes I do have the sequence but I do not want to share it so what are you gonna do about it?

It seems you prefer more to get spoiled even if it may take you days, weeks, or months of waiting until finally someone provides it to you instead of learning how to do the sequence for yourself which it should take you hours or only a day if you are a below average modder.

maby instead of posting art with my .shp asset submissions, i should just post .zip files with the raw  
frames and let everyone compile the units and buildings themselves from now on. i have a pretty dope  
VTOL unit rendered but i cant be assed to figure out how to get the frame sequences right.... someone care  
to compile and write that units .ini for me?

i already made the unit but engine limitations kind of made it a waste of my time. see "poop vtol" in shp section if curious

anyways my point is that yeah it is kind of a dick move to give incomplete files/code... but at the same time where do these entitled ass
modders get off thinking that they ought to have complete plug and play assets just fall into their laps like that? while these artists go seriously out
of their way to make and give their assets for literally nothing. these modders cringing and moaning at the notion of finding the sequence for a
free asset and sharing that is also embarrassing. like god forbid you make even the smallest contribution to the mod community or something.

Indeed, don't get me wrong, if a vehicle didn't come with an FLH I'd ask for one, cos who knows the work better than the artist, but now the FLH Finder exists, I just do it myself, because I have the means available to.

Coding a sequence is not hard, you have all the tools available to do so right off the bat.

Anyway, yeah, modders shouldn't expect everything be handed to them. Just being handed a properly rendered SHP should be good enough, in essence I completely concur.

Icons, Ini code, and etc are just the cherry on top, and while it's great to get those, not everyone has the time or patience to do that, especially after rendering the aforementioned SHP.

One must learn to adapt what they're given into their project.
