Only now is the Command Interface complete. Go Command and Conquer in the name of Comrade Baron Kane Himself.
Place loose in RA2YR folder, or put it in a MIX file. See here for naming convention.
Theoretically, this is usable by Tiberian Sun; again, place loose or in a MIX. In practice, it won't look great and there will be overlap because TibSun and Firestorm cells are ~25% smaller than in RA2YR.
But if you want to, go for it.

"modern" place.shp only show the outline/borders, with maybe a cross or something in middle.
As Mental?Speeder put it: "Thick frame empty square is best"
I found that boring.
This place.shp has the outlines of the original cells (real thin) plus:
-the second frame of this SHP is used for a single frame before the actual building spawns. You can barely see it if at all at 30FPS. 10FPS you're guaranteed to see it.
It was red before. That's boring. I made it yellow; dark yellow, mid-yellow, brightest yellow. Because why the frig not.
In these shots the 16x16 building has PlaceAnywhere=yes to allow placement on slopes, ramps, etc.
-the darkest pigment of a color offered by the palette.pal used for the base cell (so you can see how high/offset from neighbouring cells a tilted cells is); thanks to OS SHP Builder Show RA2 Grid.
On that note: this also shows how... offset the RA2 Grid is in OS SHP Builder. It's only a few pixels, no-one's gonna notice or care, but that's how it is.
-middle pigment offered by palette.pal used to connect base cell to actual cell. No idea how to explain this one, just chk the file/in-game or look at the shots.
Thank Banshee for Show Center in OS SHP Builder.
-frame 15 (16 in SHP Builder), which is the very steep ramp you can't see because of the angle of the game's camera, had a simple red square. I changed that so it's a line. See shots below.
-the ramp tiles with a flat portion have that one outlined by yellow. Because red, red and more red varying only in brightness is boring.
-no idea what frames 24 through 38 are used for.
I've numbered them in the SHP. If anyone sees them on a ramp, please screenie and post it here so I can fix it.
