I downloaded the YR Modern Warfare mod and extracted the rulesmd file and edited it, so I can have more troops to each side in the paradrop but when I run the mod only the new terrain shows up and none of the custom units are there only the vanilla units from the original game.

Seems the rulesmd overrides the majority of the mod, so I removed it and placed it back into the mod's expandmd95.mix.

Now when I run the mod it won't read any of my changes even though it has the edited rulesmd file back in place.

How do I go about editing this mod for my use ?

There could be another rules in another mix that takes higher priority

That mod is a cobbled together mess of public & ripped assets, so I wouldn't be surprised if the code is equally disorganized.

Find the rulesmd from the highest numbered mix file, and edit that one.

That's all I can really say.

While you're going to want the latest rules file, it might be easier to just make a new mix file rather than digging for it for the time being.
