New Gameplay Video
As a thank you for your continued support this year, seriously you're the best fans we could ask for. We are extremely grateful for your patience as we focus on completing the optimization. With the latest gameplay videos, some of you have asked why haven't we launched. We really wanted to earlier but stability was a major concern something that is well on its way to being fixed once and for all with the all-important optimization work we've been doing. Which we can go into more detail on soon. In the meantime enjoy this new gameplay video!









Mapwide Ion Storm
It was visible in our Tiberium ecosystem video we showed as part of the 22nd Anniversary of the Tiberian Sun. But in case you've missed that these two screenshots should sum up how a map can suddenly change wildly when a map-wide ion storm appears.




"It's almost beautiful when an Ion Storm fits in on an entire area encompassing the entire battlefield for miles. I've witnessed it a number of times as GDI Commander's ordered all aircraft to land and sensitive equipment to be powered down until the storm passes. Depending on the area and the lighting can change quite a bit from dark greens particularly at night or evenings while if during the day it tends to cause an ominous yellow across the battlefield. These larger storms are not to be confused with their smaller roaming Ion Storm variety which tends to come into the area with strong cloud coverage and affects a smaller area because these roaming storms move aircraft pilots have to be very observant to ensure they avoid these storms flying into one can be a fatal move for any ORCA pilot.
