This is the first SHP for my Xaeon Mod. I have yet to make damaged frames and buildup, but this is what I have so far. Its the radar, if you can't tell, which you probably can't. Anyways, post comment and criticisms, its the only way anyone can get better at anything.

If the angle is correct, it's a fine start. Simple, but fine. I don't have much to comment because I don't know the side/house that will receive it and how will their structures will look like. Anyway, just remember to resize it Wink.

What script is that? No I'm not using it. What does it do? I do have to resize it to I think about a quarter of its size and crop it, but I'm going to do that when all the frames are done. If i didn't it would look so ztypin' big.

1:I dont do SHPs and i know what Flyby's script is. it converts the 3-D model to a SHP,so you can use it ingame
2:That looks like the iron curtain from hell. put a little more texture and effort into it...you cant  hardly see the base.

Well the textures are slightly better now, and I've done a damaged frame for it. Geeze making these is hard. The normal one is 5 layers, and this damaged one is 7. Anyways:

[EDIT] How wold a script like that work? I do everything needed manually in Photoshop and can't really find any shortcuts to automate the process Maybe that's just due to the way I make the SHPs. I mean, I use 4 images to make each frame... Crying or Very sad

It's a bit small for a 2x3 area, it needs to either be made slightly smaller or bigger to fit better. It looks quite good I must admit. I didn't realise when you posted it that the SHP was for RA.

you really shouldent use that as a bulding as it looks like a lamp with a light bulb....give it a screen and make a 3d room and use that as a lamp instead

well atleast he created a shp from scratch (haven't seen you do it) And I think it looks very good. Im sure there is a use for it like a laboratory, techcenter or something. Maybe even a new type of weapon.

What about some sort of Tesla coil thing Smile (just an idea)

did I said that? No I just say this is a nice building and you didn't create anything from scratch. You just make stuff from westwood building-parts. Show me if I'm wrong? I think it's very good if someone creates something that is really authentic

You are definately allowed to post your opinions Denmon, and anyone who actually read my post will notice that its a radar. I know its simplistic, but that's what that side looks like, for a reason. Also, nice barracks! Looks just like every other barracks ever made though... Not that I'm insulting your skills, just your creativity.

I changed the title, and I'm gonna post news on my mod here.

First of all, I've got a power plant done for the same side as the Radar. There's a pic of it below. Also, I've got the mod installer/launcher done.

vase one is better, or your could improve the first one by rendering it in different angle/perspective, cuz now it has a straght vertical line which is not good.

Well the thing is... I lost the file for the first powerplant.  Sad All I have is the image. This also foils another plan I had for the mod. Unless... Okay I have an even better idea to go along with it now. So. Any more comments before I put it ingame?

[UPDATE] Good news everyone! I found a copy of the original powerplant! Here it is, rotated. Now decide which version is best.
