No. And I don't think it is possible. shp is merely a picture, you can't rely on machine translation to get which colour block means what part of whatever object that is.

I imagine it would be possible, people have adapted those kinematic capture cameras for consoles to do 3D mapping of solid objects. It works by taking pictures from different angles and using the skew to calculate depth, then as you scan around the object it sees and meshes more of the object into a whole, quite accurately I might add.

There are "shape from shading" techniques that can estimate depth from two or more real objects, but in the SHP files used by this game, the results would be deeply deteriorated by the limited palette of colors.

So, I believe Virgil's answer is more reliable than G-E's.

AI can now interpret 2D images into 3D
