In certain maps, YR just gets stuck with no internal error.
There's no way to close it when this happens.

Any idea of causes of this ?

In a single player map, I encountered this when trying to build a specific structure (Yuri Naval Yard I think it was, after requisitioning a Yuri ConYard) which makes no sense whatsoever.

Open the map and read what they've put into it, they might have defined new building rules you could just remove.

You can also run AICHECK against the map to see if it catches anything missing.

It's quite likely since the maps are highly customized.

Quick update on this:

- it happens on very few specific maps like tint.yrm (that adds light FX to all existing structures)
- it does not seem related to map errors (AI check results are good)

If anyone can please test what could cause freezes with no error I'd really appreciate it.

Freezes are being reported by players.

For testing that tint map should have a high chance of freezing.

Note that not everything it says is an error as such, sometimes it's just to highlight something that could be unintended. Like disabled trigger warnings doesn't also look for enabling triggers, but you would know (or can check) if they exist.

Pay particular attention to overlaps. When two buildings overlap and one is destroyed, you can get a hard crash. Other weird behaviour might result when waypoints are obstructed.

On Tint map, please_select_* stuff exceed 24 characters and that's why they probably error. I can rename to comply with under 24 char to eliminate that.

On SP, most of the warnings/errors seem to be from the original versions of the maps.
I will do some digging nevertheless.

I have also eliminated the following possible causes so far:

- the sounds files
- the light posts
- the fixed/altered building anims

What do you mean by 2 buildings overlapping ?

While testing to eliminate causes (on Tint) the last 2 freezes 2 got was when using genetic mutator and lighting storm over enemy bases. The previous one when walking suicide drones around (no attacks/explosions/effects). I can't find any logic or relation between those.
