The texture work is great it fits with the other GLA building perfectly. The design does look a bit generic IMO though, maybe a guard tower with a spotlight on the gate house might make it look more prisonish?

Did some work with the materials - I applied the scale to the objects and adjusted the noise scale to force bumpy-ness.  Still learning new things for Blender as I go; applying the scale was a neat trick.  For the noise scale, I went from like 200 to 8, so I can fine tune it now.

As far as the design goes, this is a remake of an unused asset from Generals.  Originally, the game was going to feature a POW system where captured infantry were taking to prisons/detention centers and charge up special powers. So my first step is to do a one to one remake, and once I nail the look, I'm going to adjust/scale/re-imagine to fit better into RA2.

Wow they looks great. My only criticism would be the domes going from flat & then growing upwards looks a bit weird. Might I suggest starting with a slice of the completed dome & then make it grow horizontally in a circle etc..

personally i would leave the domes at full size and add more movement to the
smaller components. like, make just half the tower rise up, then pause for some
frames, then have it go up the rest of the way. it is fine to move chunks around
horizontally a bit to add movement and in general you want the building to look
like it has discreet phases to its construction and avoid having it just come straight
from the ground, or have the smaller details just kind of fizzle into reality. buildups
play once for all of 2 second so focus more on movement and less on small details.
i also suggest using more than 23 frames. i go with 36 frames

I'd move the parapet off to the side, and make that boiler or whatever some dirty smelting chimney, with some indication of glowing hot metal or welding below on some faces. Something to show there's activity inside that doesn't involve flashing lights.

The design overall fits in nicely with the other buildings, does the roof open up? When I made a factory with a metal roof in the past I split the roof into several sections & made the middle ones slide over the top of the outer roof sections when open. Something similar could work work on your building too.

Yeah war factories are the worst XD the design is limited to a specific size, shape & layout. Then you also have to make lots of separate shp files for all the different parts.

Looks great Smile how do you plan on adding the firing animation? NukeUp anim with all the rockets launching together, or a large building anim with them launching & fading away as they fly up...?

Mircea volunteered to take a stab at it, I rendered the damaged frames for the missiles up/racks down tonight.  Only GLA building left is the Sneak Attack Tunnel Exit!
