A small set of community news...
Thrusday is a great day for me, every week. Because, for a funny coincidence, all my classes in the university are on monday and wednesday. One subject also has classes on friday and the other one has one huge class on tuesday. In short, I have no classes today . And to celebrate my weekly lazyness day, I'm posting a news with recent cool things I've seen in this community. I'm also using the day to work on the OS SHP Builder 3.3, where I fixed a little bad inconvenience of the program get very instable once it fails to load a corrupted SHP file. Now, instead of all that access violations, it simply informs that it can't open the file and you can continue to use the program normally. Now, back to the news :
-> ShockWave released!: At Reneclips, the shockwave team has released the ShockWave Public Beta 0.8 for Zero Hour. It's a mod that adds several features like new sounds, new graphics and more ballance stuff. And makes the game nicer and fix some bugs.
-> ProGen 2.4 Released: DeeZire has made a new version of ProGen. This version works fine with the new ZH patch 1.03. Other than that, Deezire made few changes. If you enjoyed the old ProGen versions, you'd better update to this one.
-> CnC Holland 1.7 released: The good people from CnC Holland mod has released a new version that fixes several problems from 1.6 and adds few units like German Tiger helicopters and Dutch scout Pilatus C7 aircraft. However, this version 1.7 requires the old 1.6, since it simply patch it.
-> Are technicians usefull? Hexetic replies: After winning the poll of most useless C&C unit, the technicians were the main stars from a new hilarious movie made by Hexetic, from PlanetCnC with a little help from Nyerguds, where a horde of technicians fight a single flame tank in TD. Who wins? The mass of technicians, or the flame tank in the red damage? Hard question, huh ? See the movie by yourself and get a big laugh, because it's really hilarious, specially with the nice soundtrack that he included. At least, I've personally haven't laughed so much before with a C&C movie... anyway, check it out... the 28mb are worth the sacrifice! QUICK_EDIT
