I'm not sure that will you make "East Germany" playable or not, But my suggestion for East Germany is "Spy" (Just think about the "Stasi") Their purpose is Reconnaissance,Infiltrating enemy buildings,Infiltrate power plant to cut power off for a while,Infiltrate supply depot to steal the enemy's funds,Infiltrate Radar to reset & shroud their map exploration,Infiltrate construction yard, factory, barrack to see what the enemy is currently building & training,Infiltrate "Superpower building" to reset the preparation progress, What do you think?

I think all nation in D-Day are going to have "Pillbox" as their anti-infantry base defense structure, So will the Soviet Pillbox armed with "DShk" heavy machine gun looks like one of the many pillboxes built around the city of Kyiv,Ukraine in the image below? (Don't forget to answer me about the addition of "Stasi Spy" too).

Germany already have the "Goliath" bomb drone,So will Britain have the "Panjandrum" too? (And don't forget to answer me about the East Germany's Stasi Spy & Soviet DShK Pillbox's design too).

I'm not adding East Germany to D-day so I'm not adding the Stasi.

The Soviets already have a DShk machine gun nest, I'll probably change it to look more like a Pillbox in the future.

I plan to add the Panjandrum at some point, I haven't decided how tho as it's more of a weapon you fire at the enemy then a "unit" you control.

Will you add Thai "Type 83" light tank? Its difference over the original Japanese "Type 95 Ha-Go" are the extra headlights & addition of American  radio systems.

Quote:
If you want to make units suggestions for countries that are not playable in D-day then the unit has to have some sort of historical importance or unique design.

No.

I've already added land mines to every country.

No, but I'll probably add the K series at some point.

I might add the Humber Snipe but there are more important things to make first.

No, the Shinkansen is to modern and even if I did add it I'd then have to make a whole map of 1960s Tokyo just so I can add one train as a background decoration...

Should the "Shangdeng No.1" Amphibious Bus-Helicopter hybrid become China's transport helicopter instead of "Harbin Z-5"? (A Chinese copy of Mil Mi-4) But i think it won't have a secondary amphibious ground-travel mode because of the game engine's limitations.

Only a small model of the Shangdeng No.1 was ever built and most likely just as a propaganda piece. The Z-5 in comparison was mass produced and widely used so it's the obvious choice for China's helicopter.

I might add the Shangdeng No.1 in the future as a fun bonus unit, I can make it switch modes between flying and driving by deploying.

Soviet Union already have the specific bomber planes for each "time periods", With "Tupolev Tu-95" already being the Soviet bomber of the post-war period, Though i have an idea for the Soviets to have another bomber in the post-war, Here is the "Myasishchev M-50" being carried by a "Zero-Length Launch Vessel", IlAs i imagined, The M-50 will just fly off-screen after finishing the "bombing run" and then the vessel will wait for the M-50 to respawn on its back or you will just make the M-50 fly back to land on the vessel?

Then, Will you add the scaled-down interceptor variant of the "Moskalev DSB-LK" reconnaissance aircraft? (Difference over the original reconnaissance variant are its smaller size & engine under the wing configuration).

The Saunders Roe P.187 would fit into D-day but I have more important things to make.

For the same reason the Northrop N-144 was canceled, its too big and impractical for D-day.

Sud-Est X-106 was an export version of the Sud-Est Grognard designed for Switzerland. There is no reason to add the X-106 but I might make the Grognard in the future...

No, The X-207 Atar was a design study for a mixed propulsion interceptor that eventually led to the SE.212 Durandal. I might add the SE.212 in the future but I dont see the need to add any of the earlier version that lead up to it. BTW other then these four there were five more variants of the X-207...

Project Aerie was a 1958 proposal for fitting the Boeing C-135A with AAM-N-10 Eagle missiles.

The proposal to fit the B-47 Stratojet with anti-air missiles was part of the earlier 1955 Project Lamp Light.

I presume you found this on the Secret Projects forum, you didn't bother to read the actual text in the thread were they discus several different related projects tho.

Both Aerie and Lamp Light are to modern for D-day.

The Me P.1101/99 would fit into D-day but I have more important things to make.

Will the Joint American-Dutch VTOL Interceptor project named "Fokker-Republic D-24 Alliance" be included in D-Day? (Answer me about the XF-103 too).

Both are too modern. I try to use 1955 as a soft limit for units in D-day, but will go to up to 1960 if I specifically need to fill a gap in the tech tree.

The D-24 was developed in the late 1960's and expected to go into production in the 1970's.

Then, Will you add the "Tsybin 2RS"? It's an armed fighter/interceptor variant of the "Tsybin RSR" recon plane, Intended to be carried by the "Bartini A-57" amphibious bomber jet.
