Fixing the Disruptors

Having reinstalled Tiberian Sun i remembered how insanely powerful the Disruptors were and how they virtually shut down any other unit......so i decided to take a look at the damage values and all , was surprised by the damage value of 1??? Yet it boasted a very powerful weapon that deleted everything in the game

So i took a look at warhead values and dictated that sonic warhead damage value against "Light" armor is set to 50% and against "Heavy" damage is reduced to 30% with testing i seen a sharp drop of the unit performance against units with heavy armor

And that's how i think i fixed Tiberian Sun most busted unit , but surely I'm not the only one who attempted to fix the Disruptors

You ever tried to balance these things before? As of now in my game they became a anti infantry/siege unit which leaves the titans with the role of anti armor instead of Disruptors being generalists

Yeah that's what's fun about their design , it also can friendly fire and you need to keep an eye on the rest of your forces to not get caught up in the sonic beam

Westwood had lots of fun ideas and creative unit designs in Tiberian Sun only ONLY if EA didn't push them to release it hastily we may have seen much better game than what we got
