Simply how does the Explodes logic (Explodes=yes on a unit) work? More specifically:

How does the game determine how much damage it does?
What warhead does it use?
How far does the damage spread?
How can I modify all or any of these attributes?

I don't think the DeathWeapon logic from RA2 is in Tiberian Sun.

It actually is, but you can't specify the weapon, it will always use Primary. Damage is determined by the unit's strength value. Warhead comes from the primary weapon ofcourse. Spread is always the same, comparable to an exploding harvester.. say 3x3 cells.

One more thing, how does the CollateralDamageCoefficient tag affect this?

Yes.. basically it's a modifier to the damage, i think.. but i've found out that even 0.1 is quite a high value.
