For the last time...GENERALS IS NOT MEANT TO BE PART OF THE HORRENDOUSLY FUCKED UP STORYLINE!(thanks RA2) just a platform.to test the SAGE engine,and a poor marketing ploy,by slapping C&C on it. they attempted to create a (semi) realistic(as in tactical. im not calling GLA Toxin Tractors real here..)RTS,where mass rushing wasent the only way to win(Its all over in RA2. just play on WOL...),where you had to employ everything at your arsenal. unlike in RA2*. the same,cheesy units are used. Prism tanks,Battle Fortresses,ect. but i kind of look forward to red alert 3. as long as rushing is squashed. but we have Age OF Empires III(picking up right where AOE2 left off),so if RA3 is sh*t. i'll have something to play i look forward to using British Redcoats,and stomping out the colonial revolution. _________________ PPM's Reichstrollfuherer, 236th Trollenparties brigade. Some of you have been asking about post product support for B4ME, especially given the notes that we are thinking of an expansion pack and working on RA3.
Rather than get into arguments and debates about how much support there has been on Red Alert 2 or Generals and then whether people will be happy with support for B4ME, I thought I would give a bit of the bigger picture going forward.
The key thing to note is that we're going to have a dedicated team for B4ME going forward. This differs from our past process of having a our one team jump from product to product(i.e. Red Alert 2, Yuri's, Generals, Zero Hour, B4ME). The very nature of having this team means that the landscape for support and development of B4ME games has changed from how things have worked in the past.
Next thing, is that we are going to support the product (and already have) because we know it's important and it's the right thing to do.
Because the product has been out for about a day, it's too early to outline all of the things we have planned and instead I suggest to everyone that they just watch and participate in the support going, giving feedback about things you appreciate as well as things you don't appreciate.
For those of you who are skeptics or like to post negative comments about everything(especially those posting from guest accounts), you should watch and keep a record of the things we've done and then post those with your comments and conclusions. You guys can do a great service to the community by helping to ensure that everyone is exactly aware of what's really happening or not.
Hope this helps explain the bigger picture for everyone.

If those producers have any brains left they would make TT because its what i want and most likely ALOT of other CNC fans want to see too. I personally think EA is foolish to make RA3 and not TT first. They would make BIG BUCKS!, and it might make people like EA a little more.

Probably just the very beginning. It was about 49-51, then it slowly started going more and more in RA3's favour. The truth of the matter is, RA2 was far more popular than TS. _________________

westwood did fake their screnshots on ts... even they knew they did a shit job on it. and im sure they threw it all together after failing at a lot of the things they wanted to have in it. honestly im glad they arent doing TT before RA3 because i simply hate the generals engine as it is now. the C&C3 screens looked pretty good but if the units acted like in generals id dislike it. they are giving the fans what they want which is RA over TT. face it more people like RA more. i dont but its obvious... i do feel the longer they wait to make it the better it WILL be. because it would suck if they made it during this time around. Ooh,i feel so hurt mentally. You moron. have you any care for STORY,PLOT,and DEPTH?! something that C&C and RA where BORN from. I love tiberian sun,granted,the Beta kicked much more ass,but Where are the 3 i mentioned in Red Alert 2, huh? did the soviets magically abolish there airforce? did Harry Potter make it go poof? and then they crap out this 'Psychic' bullshit,which has NO role in the damn storyline. the Cutscenes where laughable. when i watched TS's cutscenes,i felt like i was being breifed,given my assignment,and told to do it. RA2's where like a little cold war parodie,nothing more nothing less, nothing more. i could really care less about RA3 unless it is like renegade 2. atleast R2 TRYED to fit the storyline,and peice together the sagas.
