yeah although i kinda suck at it......i don't spend enough time on practicing Razz

it's just caused by people that BUY other 3d programs and then want to assure themselves that they did good.

Blender is competition quality. It's used at IRTC, although not for rendering.

But hey, you don't need (or want) photorealism for SHP making, and if you do need photorealism just export to yafray.
